A Smile

It’s a smile that says it all
It’s a smile from the heart
Sending out its rays of warmth
It’s a great way to start
And when the weight is heavy
It’s good to see a happy face
The load then seems to be lighter
There is comfort within the space.

It’s a smile of recognition
It’s a smile from the heart
With it the eyes sparkle
We are one – not apart
And when the road is long
A smile gives a sense of rest
The distance then seems shorter
We know we can give our best.

You know what it’s like
When smiles happen to meet
It’s being touched without touching
It’s like hearts skipping a beat.

It’s a smile like the sunrise
It’s a smile with warmth and peace
Giving out a sense of comfort
Allowing a feeling of release
And when time is moving slowly
A smile gives an energetic start
Suddenly the day seems brighter
There’s renewed hope in the heart.
