Just Going Around

by Kevin Sinclair

Got a block on my vision
Got a block on my hurt
Wondering lost and alone
Just feeling like dirt
And when hands reach out
I just brush them away
Simple but complex
I don’t know what to say.

Walking along the footpath
Walking along the street
It’s such a pain
Just to meet and greet
There is no connection
There is no relief
Just a hallow numbness
Instead of being the grief.

Parts of me are lost somewhere
Parts of me that may never be found
Walking down a straight line
But still just going around
Circle the issue
Circle the need
Let the blood run red
Just let it slowly bleed.
