I want to care for you
I want to be there with you

The spring will begin to fall
And summer shall return to dry the tears
But can you go on dying in your lonely room
Smoking your cigarettes and drinking your beer
Surrounded by walls to retain the fear

And I know that there will come a time
I will listen and hear you call
Reaching out for the love that I hold
And I shall die so that I may live
Letting go of the past, shackles on my mind
Trying to open up my heart in tenderness

I shall have the choice, decision to make
I will hold my love in my trembling hands
Crying take my love it’s all that I have
